From what I got industrialist set buyorder acording to their spreadcheats and apps. Buying ore from sellorder is more a thing when only small amouts of ore are missing. Buyorders can be a big chunk of an industrialist's margin AFAIK.

Just keep the ISK for times when you don't habe time to run incursions but want to PVP. Because your Alliance got attacked or whatever. Always good to have a couple of Billons as a backup.

I do cheap things like battle-nereus gangs for fun and even the "can't stop the Rokh" roam I have planned does not need much ISK. But I am quite fond of the Brave line-members, perhaps you can funnel some ISK into the Brave SRP?
